Common procedures
Hearing aid fitting
Performed in ENT (otorhinolaryngology).
What is it?
Hearing aid fitting means choosing and adjusting a hearing aid, a small device worn in or behind the ear. It makes sounds louder and clearer. It is used when hearing has become weaker.
What to expect
Fitting usually follows a hearing test, with several appointments to adjust the device. It takes some time to get used to it.
