Dental panoramic X-ray

What is it?
A dental panoramic X-ray shows all the teeth and both jaws in one image. It is used to plan dental implants and to check for impacted wisdom teeth or jaw problems.
What to expect
A machine rotates around your head while you stay still. The X-ray causes no discomfort; metal objects in the area must be removed.
